# How to Create and Publish Appraisals
Set clear rating criteria to ensure fair and objective performance assessments with Spur!
1. Click on "**Appraisals"**
2. Click on "**Create appraisal"**
3. Complete all the data fields and click on "**Save"**
4. You can **Publish** to launch the appraisal process.
