# How to Create a Project
**Steps:**
1. On your Sync! dashboard, locate the **"Create Project"** widget or click the **"+ Add Project"** icon in the Projects feature.
2. Choose between:
* **Use Your Own Team**
* **Hire from the Marketplace**
3. Fill in the required project details.
4. Click **"Create Project"**.
5. Once the project is created, you can add milestones (mandatory) and assign them to team members (optional).
